An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a room or set of rooms in a single-family home in a single-family zone that has been designed or configured to be used as a separate dwelling unit and has been established by permit.
All factory-built housing (FBH) components and systems offered for sale within California to first users shall bear an insignia of approval issued by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), in accordance with California Health and Safety Code § 19980.
Insignia are only issued through an HCD-approved FBH Quality Assurance Agency for units with prior plan approval, in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Chapter 3, Subchapter 1.
Pacifica Tiny Homes is a family business consisting of skilled contractors and plumbers who have been in their respective professions for over 20 years. The tiny houses are designed by Josue Serrano , and are built with the help of his father and brother, along with our hardworking crew.
A General B Contractor License is not required or utilized in the construction of Tiny Homes on Wheels. All RV Tiny Homes on Wheels built by Pacifica Tiny Homes are inspected by a third-party agency. Pacific West Inc. serves as the third-party inspector, certifying that each RV Tiny Home meets NFPA 1192 and ANSI 119.5 standards.
