Your home comes equipped with a 10 gallon electric water heater, stored underneath your sink, which is good for a 10-15 minute shower. If you would like on-demand hot water that lasts as long as you want, you can upgrade to a propane tankless water heater for $1900. Upgrade includes the unit, running the gas lines, and installation. If you don't want to deal with propane but want something bigger, you can also upgrade to a 20 gal. electric water heater, which comes with an exterior wood storage to hold the water heater for $1,900.
